Để đến được Núi Cao Cát, bạn cần di chuyển đến Bình Thuận, rồi từ đây thuê tàu thuyền đi ra đảo. Bạn có thể lựa chọn tàu thường, tàu trung tốc hoặc tàu cao tốc, tùy theo thời gian và chi phí của bạn. Thời gian di chuyển từ Bình Thuận ra đảo Phú Quý từ 2,5 tiếng đến 6 tiếng. Ra đến đảo, bạn nên thuê xe máy để dễ dàng di chuyển và khám phá. Để lên Núi Cao Cát, bạn phải leo lên khoảng 300 bậc thang. Khi mặt trời vừa ló dạng hoặc chuẩn bị lặn, bạn sẽ được chiêm ngưỡng bình minh hoặc hoàng hôn tuyệt đẹp trên đỉnh núi. Những tia nắng vàng rực rỡ chiếu qua những khe đá, tạo ra những hiệu ứng ánh sáng kỳ diệu. Bạn cũng có thể ngắm nhìn biển xanh ngọc bích, trời trong xanh như pha lê, và cảm nhận không khí trong lành của miền biển.
